As we moved into the fall, the September potluck was all about bone broth. Chef Lance Roll, also known as The Flavor Chef and founder of The Brothery. Lance started The Flavor Chef as a catering company and soon become known for his signature chicken bone broth with the introduction and influence of The CHEK Institute and the Weston A. Price Foundation. He then launched the e-commerce store thebrothery.com, where people can order chicken and beef bone broths across the country and have them delivered right to their door.
Before his presentation, Lance provided thermoses for the members to serve themselves with his various broth flavors. After the potluck dinner, we then saw Lance give his presentation and do a first at a chapter meeting by broadcasting it live on Facebook.
